Even those who loved Napoleon Dynamite will find it hard to endure the laconic stupor of Gentleman Broncos, from the same filmmakers. GB's one, almost redeeming feature is the casting of Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Concords) as an arrogant, schlock science fiction writer. The rest is just plain icky.

There's slow, and then there's slooooooooooow. This 70's throwback is the latter. It will be the perfect film to watch at home on DVD next Halloween because you can go answer the door for the trick-or-treaters numerous times and not miss any action. In the meantime, vintage horror buffs are about the only ones who will enjoy it in the theaters.
