A remake of a 1997 film of the same name by the same director, Funny Games explores terror and violence in contemporary society. Two white-collar serial killers imprison and torture a family in their vacation getaway. As the film progresses, the "games" that the killers play get increasingly dangerous until one offers the family a bet: that they won't survive the night.
