Isaac Knott, a wheel-chair bound radio reporter, investigates a tip that someone bribed a doctor to have their own leg cut off. The informant, a mysterious woman who identifies herself as "Ancient Chinese Girl," will introduce Isaac to a surreal underworld that blurs the lines of pleasure and pain, sickness and health.
