Fred Simmons, a Tae Kwon Do instructor with dreams of karate grandeur, runs his dojo with an iron fist, at least until he finds his beloved wife Suzie in the arms of another man. Reeling, Simmons gathers a ragtag band of companions to track down his hero, second-rate action star Chuck "The Truck" Wallace, in hopes of finding the inspiration to put his life back together.
