This is a little case of déjà vu, don't you think?

The Hangover proves to be a lush as it celebrates its second weekend as the box office champ. And gone, but certainly not forgotten, Up remains in second place grossing $30.5 million.

The Hangover has already grossed $105.4 million in 10 days including $33.4 million last weekend. It had the smallest decrease from the previous weekend at just 26 percent. This summer comedy has smashed through theaters with its “I can’t believe that just happened moments” from Bradley Cooper (He’s Just Not That Into You), Ed Helms (The Office) and comedian Zach Galifianakis. And this is one you have to see for yourself.

Up raked in $30.5 million, and to push its total to $187.2 million in 17 days. It is now the third highest grossing movie this year so far. It stands behind Star Trek ($344 million) and Monsters vs. Aliens (364.7 million).

Neither Travolta nor Washington could recover from ‘The Hangover or compete with the computer animation of Up. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 earned $25 million on 4,400 screens at 3,074 theaters. The hostage-thriller pits Denzel against Travolta in a remake of the 1974 film of the same name. Exit polls show that 54 percent of the audience was male and 62 percent was over 30 years old, according to Sony Pictures.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian held steady to round out the top four, pulling in $9.6 million with a total of $143.4 million in 24 days.

Will Ferrell’s Land of the Lost plummeted to the land of no return with a 51.4 percent decrease from the previous weekend after just two weeks in theaters. It grossed $9.2 million last weekend and now has a grand total of $35 million. The competition is quite stiff since three other children’s films are in theaters right now.

Imagine That seemed to be overlooked by audiences too. It grossed a mere $5.7 million its opening weekend. Eddie Murphy stars in the comedy about a father who receives stock tips from his daughter’s imaginary friends. Imagine That doesn't have the appeal to compete with Disney/Pixar’s box office giant.

Away We Go starring John Kransinski (The Office) expanded from four theaters the previous weekend to 45 theaters last weekend. The quirky comedy about a couple who goes on cross country adventure to see where they will want to set their roots and start a family grossed $554,000, and will continue to spread to more theaters across the nation in the coming weeks.

Sam Rockwell stars in Moon, which opened in eight theaters last weekend and grossed $145,000. The film was a Sundance favorite and is directed by David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones. The film centers on Sam Bell who is about to finish a three-year job on the moon where he has been mining Helium 3, the natural gas that will help reverse the Earth’s energy crisis.
