Mark Wahlberg and James Franco have signed on for supporting roles in the upcoming comedy, Date Night, starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey.

The studios are trying to fill their 2010 new release calendar and there is no shortage of possible candidates with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon all starring in upcoming projects.

The plots of this week’s DVDs have a wide range from an animated mad scientist to a video game turned feature film. This week is split down the middle with two flicks to rent and two to skip.
