A Little Something for the Kiddies
Jul 31, 2008Nickelodeon is providing blessed relief for the mothers of toddlers with the summertime blues. They’ll now be able to attend "Nick Jr. at the Movies" beginning July 31 in 36 theaters nationwide.
"Nick Jr. at the Movies" is a movie program for preschoolers and their caregivers that offers action-filled, song-filled fun and adventure from favorite television episodes of "Go, Diego, Go!;" "Dora the Explorer;" "The Backyardigans;" and "The Wonder Pets!" — all reformatted for large-screen projection. The presentations will also include sing-along music videos and interstitials from Nick Jr.
The "Nick Jr. at the Movies" program will run in National Amusement theaters in 12 states, including California, Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia. The 50-minute program will run Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10 a.m., and each will feature two episodes of hit Nick Jr. shows. Tickets are $6.00 per person.
