Can we possibly stand so much masculine pulchritude on the same big screen? It’s rumored that Quentin Tarantino is considering both Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio for his new Weinstein Co. film Inglorious Bastards. And they’re reported to be interested.

Surprisingly enough, the movie is a WWII drama, and Daily Variety describes it as “vintage Tarantino.” It contains several storylines that intersect. If all goes as suspected, Pitt will play the key role of Aldo Raine and DiCaprio will play the role of Hans Landa.

This works out especially well for Pitt, because the film will shoot this fall in Germany and France — where Pitt and Angelina Jolie have recently been holed up with their ever-increasing family.

The announcement also comes as a coup for Showtime, which recently announced a unique deal for the television rights to Weinstein Co. films.
