The Jonas Brothers signed with Fox to star in the feature film Walter the Farting Dog.  The movie is based on the bestselling series of books by William Kotzwinkle and Glen Murray.

Filming will begin in spring 2009, and will specifically be centered on Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas.  Also, their youngest brother, Frankie, known as “the bonus Jonas” will also in the film. 

The Jonas Brothers rise to fame comes from acting and performing their music on The Disney Channel, including the Disney Channel’s original flick, Camp Rock.

The brothers will play musicians, (surprise, surprise) whose parents are asked to take care of their aunt’s dog named Walter, before she passes away.  Walter is an overweight dog who undoubtedly has a problem passing gas.

No details have been finalized, but it has been rumored that Peter and Bobby Farrelly will direct with Bradley Thomas producing under their company, Conundrum.
