Fox Once Was Lost, Now He’s Smokin’
Jun 30, 2008Matthew Fox will likely be taking a break from his hit TV series Lost to star in a film called Billy Smoke, about a star hitman who almost loses his own life during a botched job and decides that the only way to redeem himself is to wipe out all other hitmen.
Warner Bros. is the studio behind the film, based on a comic book series that hasn’t even been published yet. It’s written by B. Clay Moore and illustrated by Eric Kim. The series will make its debut in 2009. This is the third project Moore has sold Hollywood — his others include Leading Man, now at Universal and Hawaiian Dick, which is set up at New Line.
Fox’s other big screen ventures include Speed Racer, Vantage Point, We Are Marshall and Smokin’ Aces.
