While most women in America were out seeing Sex and the City this weekend, their male counterparts were home watching the announcement of “The Best in Guydom,” at the second annual Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, held at Sony Studios in Los Angeles and hosted by Harold and Kumar stars John Cho and Kal Penn. Awards are decided by Spike TV viewers, who voted online.

Matt Damon received two of the night's top honors: "Guy of the Year" and "Best Ass Kicker" for his portrayal of Jason Bourne in The Bourne Ultimatum. Box office smash hit Iron Man garnered the "Guy Movie of the Year" honor, and star Robert Downey, Jr., and director Jon Favreau were on hand to receive the award.

Playboy creator and American icon Hugh Hefner was given the first ever "Alpha Male Award" for pioneering vision and ground-breaking achievements that forever changed the face of entertainment for men.

The show also honored one of the most successful comedies of all time, inducting There's Something About Mary into the "Guy Movie Hall of Fame," with Bobby and Peter Farrelly, as well as castmembers Ben Stiller, Cameron Diaz, Lin Shaye and Markie Post on hand to accept the honor. Diaz was also there to receive the "Decade of Hotness" award.

The “Hottest Girl on the Planet” award went to Jessica Biel, while Megan Fox was voted “Next Big Thing.” “Hottest Eva” went to Eva Mendes. Sarah Silverman was voted “Hot & Funny,” while Milla Jovovich of Resident Evil fame was lauded as the “Fiercest Female.” Steve Carrell got an award for the “Funniest M.F.” and Chris Rock was crowned “King of Comedy.”

The Guy’s Choice Awards also included appearances by Chuck Liddell, Harrison Ford, Marisa Miller, Robert Downey, Jr., Anne Hathaway, Steve Carell, Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Eva Mendes, Tila Tequila, Snoop Dogg, and Jeremy Piven. The complete show premieres on Spike TV on Sunday, June 22 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT), and, typically for cable awards shows, will be repeated many times after that.
