The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night, and the big winners included NBC’s 30 Rock, which picked up three wins, and Heath Ledger won for his supporting role in The Dark Knight. Also, Forest Whitaker presented James Earl Jones with the SAG’s highest honor, The 45th Annual Life Achievement Award followed by a tribute of Jones’ work.

The show was televised live on the TBS and TNT networks, and the complete list of winners are:

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role - Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight

Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award - James Earl Jones

The winners were selected by the 100,000 members of The Screen Actors Guild. Next year’s event has already been scheduled for Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center, same as this year.
