Not that there was ever any doubt, but the official word is that Spiderman will indeed spin again. Producer Laura Ziskin recently told theater owners that they can start preparing for a fourth installment of the franchise and that they’ll have plenty of time for it. Her production company and Sony pictures aren't planning on releasing it for another three years, in 2011.
 
The film, once again to Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, doesn’t even have a script yet, and neither Maguire nor director Sam Raimi have agreed to participate, but their signatures are mere technicalities. Who wouldn’t want to continue in a franchise that has so far grossed $2.5 billion worldwide?
