Stiller Spreads Goodness
May 4, 2009Ben Stiller is set to direct Participant Media’s Help Me Spread Goodness, a drama with comic elements.
The drama sheds light on current issues in Nigeria as a Chicago banker falls victim to an Internet scam.
The script, written by Mark Friedman (Home of the Brave), is rumored to be one of the scripts mentioned on 2008’s Black List, which is a list of the most desirable unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.
Currently, Stiller is directing Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7, after Steven Spielberg backed out the project.
Stiller last directed Tropic Thunder (2008) and will next star in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian which will be released May 22nd.
